Who are the Vanir ?
They are one group of gods in Norse mythology. They had war with another group of gods- Æsir ( Æsir-Vanir War). At the end, they unified as a single tribe of gods.
Who is Freyja?
It comes from Germanic word, meaning the Lady. She is a goddess of fertility, love, beauty, and war. She is beautiful, blue-eyed and has a gold hair.
Who is Freyr?
It comes from Germanic word, meaning the Lord. He is a god of feritility. He is associated with agriculture, weather too. He is the brother of Freyja.
Who is Njord?
He is the father of the gods of Vanir and god of the sea. He is associated with sea, seafaring, wind, fishing, wealth, and crop fertility.
